LG’s new wireless earphones
LG has come up with an innovatively designed product to help people with clean earphones. The new wireless earphones come in a case that doubles up as a charger. The case also has ultra-violet light that cleans the earphones. The ultraviolet light cleans the plugs and kills the germs/bacteria that have accumulated, while they are being charged. The attachments are made up of hypoallergenic silicone gel. These are also cleaned when placed in the case for charging.
For this product, LG has collaborated with Meridian Audio, a British company. The two products by LG – HBS FN4 and HBS FN6 use a technology called Headphone Spatial Processing (HPS) that was developed by Meridian Audio. This will enable to user to have a surreal experience while listening to audio using the wireless earphones. The audio is delivered directly into the ear canal. Both are wireless earbuds.
While both the products are built similarly, they have differences as well. While the HBS FN4 will have only a charging case, the HBS FN6 will come with a charging case with the self-cleaning UVnano property. The charging cases in both products can charge the earphones three times. Along with the six hours of earbud usage, you get 18 hours of battery for playing music or attending phone calls.
LG plans to launch both the designs of wireless earphones in July. In Europe, the earphones will be priced at €149. Customers can choose between two colors – black and white, for both products.
