Lenovo Tab P11 is an Affordable Alternative for Samsung Galaxy Tab S7

Ahead of the official opening of the CES 2021 – a virtual event for this year – Lenovo has played its move and launched a brand new tablet called Lenovo Tab P11. The latest tablet by Lenovo is an Android tablet is a slightly watered-down version of the Tab P11 Pro that the company launched in 2020. The new tablet comes with an affordable price tag and packs specs that make it a budget alternative for Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S7.

The Lenovo Tab P11 is aimed at professionals working from home and children learning at home. It packs a sleek design with a dual-tone finish on the aluminum-alloy chassis. This tablet from Lenovo keeps the resolution at 2K on an 11-inch LCD screen on the display front.

Lenovo claims that the Tab P11 comes certified for HD playback on Netflix. It is one of the few Android tablets that have that certification from the streaming giant. For complete entertainment purposes, the tablet also packs a quad-stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor powers the tablet with support for LTE and Qualcomm’s FastConnect, making the tablet WiFi 6 ready to provide it with high speeds and performance.

The Tab P11 comes with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera for Face Unlock and video call. Lenovo has also included a Smart Privacy feature that blurs the background users who work from home and do not want to show their house to business contacts.

The tablet has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage for the standard variant. Users can further expand the storage up to 256GB via microSD card. The Lenovo Tab P11 runs Android 10 out-of-the-box. A 7,700mAh battery powers the device with up to 15 hours of backup on a single charge.

Lenovo has also added support for Google’s Kids Space that is a nifty product for parents. It enables parents to give the tablet to their kids with child-specific restrictions. The Kids Space offers entertaining games, books, videos, and more to kids under age 9. There’s also a family link app that can be used by parents to monitor their kids’ tablet usage.

Concerning pricing, the Lenovo Tab P11 costs $229.99 for the standard variant. And it will be up for purchase starting this month. The specific sale data is yet to be revealed.

Lenovo has also included support for some accessories with the latest tablet. It’s worth noting that these accessories are meant to be purchased separately and are not bundled with the tablet for free.

The Tab P11 supports a Keyboard with a kickstand set at any angle, thanks to a free-stop hinge at the back. The keyboard also features a dedicated hotkey that quickly activates Google Assistant for voice commands.

Another accessory supported by the Tab P11 is a Lenovo Precision Pen 2 supporting 4,096 pressure points, WGP and AES 2.0 protocols, and more. This accessory also has a pouch to store it and attach it with the tablet.

A Folio case is also available to keep the tablet safe. And there is also a Smart Charging Station 2 to charge the tablet wirelessly and also use it as a smart hub with Google Assistant Ambient mode. The smart station comes with a 4-pin connector.
