The year 2020 has pushed all of us to avoid physical contact as much as we can. And it is not surprising to see event organizers and companies also shifting to virtual events to prevent any physical gatherings. Following the cue, the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2021 is going to be completely virtual. It means that we will be able to witness some exciting tech launches via live streams and more.

Now that we have clarity on the show’s virtual preps, it’s time we share some inside information with you. This article will cover some details about the upcoming virtual tech event and the participants (brands) taking part in it.

Below is all the important information about the CES 2021.

CES 2021: The Event & Viewing Access

Regarding the upcoming CES, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) has promised that the experience will be truly unique and the event attendees “have a front-row seat” to 2021’s technology plans.

In a statement, CTA stated, “This highly personalized experience will bring a global event to the comfort and safety of your home or office.”

Usually, CES happens in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Convention Center. But this year, the event will be entirely virtually. The event starts on January 11, 2021, and will go on until January 14, 2021.

However, just like previous years, we expect some companies to jump ahead of the schedule and launch products in the first week of January itself.

Concerning the show’s access, it is unclear whether, this time around, the show will be open for general viewing. Previously, it was restricted to the tech community members, but this time around, it might be available for public viewing virtually.

There is no final word on the availability yet, so it’s better to put this info on hold.

CES 2021: Which Companies & Brands Are Participating

The CTA started the registrations for participants on December 3, 2020. Not many tech companies have revealed the status of their participation in the CES 2021 yet.

However, companies like Samsung have reportedly revealed their virtual conference slated for January 11, 2021, at 9 AM ET. The South Korean company is expected to bring forth some latest smartphones, smart TVs, and more.
