After a series of leaks and rumors, Xiaomi has finally made the Mi 11 smartphone official in China. The flagship is the first smartphone to come out with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. In addition to SD888 SoC, the Mi 11 also packs other powerful specs, making it a premium smartphone offering.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 uses E4 – a light-emitting material – for the display. The material goes hand-in-hand with a four-sided curved edge design supporting 2K resolution. Another premium specification comes in the form of triple rear camera setup featuring 108MP primary lens.

AMOLED Display, Tripe Cameras, Powerful SoC & More!
The Xiaomi Mi 11 features a 6.81-inch AMOLED display with 2K WQHD resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It has a hole-punch design offering a 120Hz refresh rate. Based on the phone’s usage, the refresh can go as high as 480Hz or as low as 30Hz. The phone supports other display features such as HDR10+, Motion Estimation, and Motion Compensation (MEMC). The display of the Mi 11 is premium and has already been given A+ high rating by DisplayMate.
Coming to the essential feature, the Mi 11 is powered by Qualcomm’s most powerful chipset – the Snapdragon 888 SoC. The phone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor that also works as a heart rate sensor.
The smartphone sports a triple camera setup on the rear with a 108MP primary sensor supported by optical image stabilization (OIS) and 8K video resolution. The 1/1.33-inch sensor is 3.7x bigger than the iPhone 12’s primary sensor and 2x bigger than iPhone 12 Pro’s sensor.
The secondary sensor in the setup is a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens with field-of-view (FoV). There is a 5MP sensor, too, with a focal length equal to 50mm. The phone’s camera setup is great at capturing low-light videos.
On the front, there is a 20MP selfie camera, tucked in a punch-hole design. Connectivity-wise, the Mi 11 supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, USB Type-C port, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and Infrared (IR). The phone also features stereo speakers by Harman Kardon.
A 4,600mAh battery backs the smartphone with Mi TurboCharge 55W wired and 50W wireless charging. Additionally, the phone supports 10W wireless reverse charging.
